Sextant, No. 1920, brass, made by Troughton & Simms, made in London, England, c. 1836 Double plated brass sextant with telescope (the telescope is probably not original to the sextant), solar filters and wooden handle. Scale ruled on silver. Sextant is inscribed for presentation. Also a brass cased 14 second hourglass which may not be directly related to sextant.
